Ethel was born to Glen and Caroline (Bradley) Roybal on November 3, 1941, in Mobile, AL. She is the older sister of Shane (Dominic Donovan) and Robert (Bobby Browne). She married Arnold Adams on June 17, 1958. They had four children together.
During Arnold's touring, Ethel moved her family from Mobile to Tunica, MS. There was no real reason for the move in 1975. However, it worked out to be the best decision she ever made when the MVW hit its stride. Ethel's Accounting degree from University of Mobile helped her as she made sure the books were balanced throughout the MVW's thirty-year history.
